Tulips in a pitcher

Our story

My flower journey started three years ago, after growing a random dahlia tuber I purchased from a big box store. After seeing that first Snow Country bloom, I was hooked.

I started gardening during covid like everyone else. I am a chef, who shifted her career in the food styling/tv production world, to culinary education, so I could be present while raising my two young daughters.

In 2021, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and I became one of her caregiver, while on maternity leave. For me, going outside, and putting my hand in the dirt, heeled my mind and soul. It was the only bit of time I could carve out for myself, and it saved me.

My mom pushed through, and is now one of my biggest supporters. In 2022, I launched Living Sowful, my micro flower farm. The name's a reminder to live with purpose. Sometimes life seems like we are just going through the motions, and we find ourselves just getting through the day. Flowers are magic. They can make you stop, and see the beauty in this world. I love being able to share this beauty with my community, and bring light to their soul.

Our urban Farm is Located in Springfield, Ma, and also have pick up locations in Holyoke, Ma.

Picked with care

It pains me when I see people investing in a market bouquet with fully blown open flowers. Our flowers are picked at their peak. They are guaranteed to have the longest vase life, and have been properly conditioned so you can enjoy them for over 7 days.
